Is That All You’ve Got?

Our annual lock on the The Golden Snowball for NY State is assured again–we’re 42 inches ahead of 2nd place Rochester and 55 inches ahead of Buffalo. We’re 35 inches ahead of second place South Bend, Indiana for the national title in the battle for the Golden Snow Globe trophy.

The only thing left to root for in our godforsaken snowburgh is to break our city and state seasonal snowfall records. Considering all the crap we’ve put up with this winter, I want to break all the records. If we have to put up with this crap, the least we are owed is record breaking totals. Overnight we received our 132nd inch of snow this season–just 60 inches short of the all-time record for Syracuse and 67 short of the all-time mark for the state. 200 inches is beckoning . . .
