My Musical Future

I have been a lazy man in terms of ripping my new CD purchases into MP3 files for my computer, the main way I listen to music these days. But look at all the musical good times staring me in the face:

“Truth”–Jeff Beck
“We Walk This Road”–Robert Randolph & The Family Band
“Real Animal” & “Street Songs Of Love”–Alejandro Escovedo
“Plays Blues, Ballads & Favorites”–Jimmie Vaughan
“Hammersmith Odeon, London 1975”–Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band
“Roadsongs”–The Derek Trucks Band
“Los Angeles”–X
“Hill Country Revue”–North Mississippi Allstars
“Love Is Strange”–Jackson Browne/David Lindley
“So Runs The World Away”–Josh Ritter
“Dead Set”–The Grateful Dead
“Highway 61 Revisited–Bob Dylan
“GP” & “Grievous Angel”–Gram Parsons

So, 16 albums of blues,, punk, folk, jam band, guitar heroes, local indie, jam band, and good old rock ‘n’ roll. This plus the World Cup this weekend. Time to get to work before the stack falls over!
