Couldn’t resist this one. The Driscoll administration spent 84 man hours and a couple of thousand dollars to remove over 200 handmade signs critical of the Mayor from light and telephone poles. They left all the other typical samizdat signs on the poles.
The reporter called me for a reaction and I was quoted in the article saying that maybe our neighborhoods would get better DPW service if Southsiders wrote anti-Driscoll statements on the sneakers that adorn the phone wires and the administration claims they can’t take down.
