A standing ovation from Red Sox Nation for former Sox All Star Nomar Garciaparra, as he makes his first appearance in Fenway Park since he was traded in 2004.
The hurt and disappointments (from both player and management) that culminated in his trade have subsided. Besides, it had to hurt to be dangled as trade bait for Alex Rodriguez and then watch your former teammates go on to win the World Series.
Anyway–all is forgiven. Thank you, Nomar for everything you did for the Sox!
